What do Biotechnologists do?

Biotechnologists are responsible for some of the most vital and important inventions. Biotechnologists in the field of medicine develop vaccines and antibiotics, which are the source of the increased longevity of human life these days. Biotechnological advancements also laid the foundation to produce GMO grain and pest resistant crop, this reduced the amount of fertilizers and pesticides required for farming and has thus proven to be an eco-friendlier method of farming.

Biotechnologists hold the key to making the world a safer and healthier place, while using ‘organic’ methods. This is the need of the hour today.
