(ATL) Atal Tinkering Lab
At our school, the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) plays a pivotal role in bringing STEM education to life. Established under the NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission, the ATL provides a dedicated space where students can explore, experiment, and innovate using tools and technologies such as 3D printers, robotics kits, sensors, and microcontrollers.
Akshara middle school students are imparted a graded STEM curriculum with hands-on learning experiments to expose them to various technologies.
Achievements
- STFE (Seed the Future Entrepreneur) Competition 2024: Student Startup Team KAVACH (Grades 8–11) secured 1st Runner-Up among 340+ national teams with an innovative product and business pitch.
- ATL School Innovation Marathon 2024-25: Grade 6 team selected in Top 1000 nationally for creativity and real-world problem-solving.
- F1 in Schools – Startup Nationals: Two teams from Grades 9–11 declared West Region Winners, showcasing STEM excellence and teamwork.
- ATL Marathon 2023-24: Team Vinayak (Grade 7) earned 1st Runner-Up with their AI chatbot ‘GITA’, selected from over 19,700 teams; received training at AIC Pinnacle, Pune.
- Amalthea 2024 – IIT Gandhinagar: 14 students from Grades 7–9 won 6 trophies and 11 ranks across Drone Sim Racing and Roboclench, dominating both junior and senior categories at India’s premier student-led tech summit.
