School Counsellor

We are hiring a compassionate and qualified School Counsellor to support the academic, social, emotional, and psychological well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will provide individual and group counselling, guide students in their personal and academic development, collaborate with teachers and parents, and contribute to creating a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
  • Diploma/Certification in Guidance and Counselling is preferred.
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (where applicable) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant counselling experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE/International School or educational institution.
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents across different age groups.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology, emotional well-being, and behavioural development.
  • Ability to provide individual and group counselling for academic, emotional, behavioural, and social concerns.
  • Knowledge of career guidance, life skills education, and student wellness programmes.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
  • Proficiency in maintaining counselling records, preparing reports, and documenting interventions.
  • Familiarity with child protection policies, safeguarding practices, and crisis intervention.
