Mental Well Being and Physical Health” was the central theme of Akshara’s Academic session 2022-23 to settle the students in school after the pandemic induced break and in cognizance of the same, Shloka Chanting became an integral part of our daily school routine. The school decided to involve its whole community in this initiative through group chanting of Shlokas during the ‘Rhythm – music fest’ event.
On 18th December 2022, Sunday evening, during the dusk time (Godhuli Bela), all students, teachers, management and staff of Akshara International School joined with one accord in the recital of Shanti Mantra. Almost 3000 people intoned the hymns for 21 minutes together creating a mystic ambience thus making a record in Asia Book of Record – ‘Maximum People Chanting Together To Spread Mental And Physical Well Being’.
The dignitaries included Principal Mrs. Sonali Balwatkar, Hon. Director Mr. Jayesh Rathore, ABR adjudicator Dr. Chitra Jain, Sunil Sundaram, CEO Torrins India, and the guest of honor Mr. Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, an eminent educationist and ex-MLA. Everyone enthusiastically participated in reciting the peace mantra and energized the atmosphere.
