Atal Tinkering Lab STEM Lab

Atal Tinkering Lab

Akshara International School established its Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL) in 2019 under the Atal Innovation Mission, an initiative by NITI Aayog, Government of India. The ATL is envisioned as a platform to nurture innovation and creativity among students by fostering a scientific temper and problem-solving mindset. This dedicated workspace allows students to engage in hands-on, do-it-yourself (DIY) activities that build their curiosity and skills in emerging technologies. Equipped with modern tools such as 3D printers, robotics kits, microcontrollers, and sensors, the lab provides opportunities for students to transform their ideas into working prototypes. To further promote innovation, the ATL regularly organizes events including competitions, workshops, exhibitions, and expert sessions. Over the years, students have excelled in various national-level platforms such as the ATL Marathon, Made in 3D Entrepreneurship Program, F1 in Schools, and drone competitions at IITs, demonstrating Akshara’s commitment to technical excellence and innovation.
