This instills in students the understanding for regular physical activity and higher levels of fitness, thus enhancing self-esteem and confidence in them.
NCC
The NCC wing of our school, active for the last four years, stands as a pillar of pride and discipline. Every year, our cadets excel at CATC camps, winning awards like Best Cadet (Boy & Girl), and achieving recognition in quizzes, throwball, and cultural events. Our cadets continue to make us proud nationally—Ms. Manasavi Balwatkar and Ms. Atreyi Kaul represented Akshara at Delhi’s Republic Day Parade. Remarkably, Ms. Atreyi Kaul served as Sergeant, meeting the Defence Minister and Army Chief.
Scouts
For the past two years, the Scouts movement in our school has been shaping students into responsible and compassionate citizens. Scouts are trained in basic life skills, teamwork, patriotism, and service to humanity, preparing them to face real-life challenges with confidence. Through practical activities and experiential learning, they develop leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, and empathy. The spirit of service, discipline, and dedication instilled through Scouts helps our students become not just achievers but also contributors to society.
Guides
The Guides unit, active in our school for the last three years, has been instrumental in nurturing discipline, responsibility, and leadership among students. Through camps, treks, community service, and skill-based activities, Guides learn resilience, self-reliance, and teamwork.
