Dormitory
Akshara being a Day Boarding School, the pre-primary children need a quiet area for the afternoon nap. A room on the ground floor have been converted into dormitory and they have:
- Bunk beds on which children are excited to sleep individually
- Mattresses with rubber lining
- Linen sheets which get washed regularly
- Curtains to keep the light out when the children are sleeping.
The children are thus able to have sound uninterrupted sleep post lunch in their dormitory under the supervision of their class maid. Milk is served to them after their afternoon nap.
